Beautiful area with great accommodations! The river is close by and there is beautiful nature all around. The owners are very nice and it is a quiet and peaceful place to get away to!
Super close, as in walking distance, to the river. Lovely landscape. Our kids just loved playing in the little streams running through the property. Accommodations are very nice! Owners are very helpful and polite. Very dark night sky is perfect for stargazing and watching meteor showers.
Thanks to Shipps Landing for a great stay. We found everything clean neat and well organized...Lots of wildlife to hear and view. We love how the boat ramp is only a few hundred yards from the end of the gate, so easy...The high speed gigabit internet is also terrific we don't feel cut off from anything...Would stay here again in a heartbeat. we spent three Relaxing days here and it was terrific. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Everything was perfect. Very Secluded location without a lot of noise or disturbance. We enjoyed deer and turkey sightings on the property daily, and had a blast exploring the trails and views.

This place was amazing and a perfect fit for how my husband and I wanted to spend New Years weekend…laid back and in the woods and tv to watch the CFP! Christina has thought of everything in this unique space that was a lot of fun to explore inside and out! The dogs were allowed to come too and they were in heaven! Christina even has a basket of towels by the door for wiping paws and cleaning up messes. The bed was comfy and the shower was awesome. Lots of space and lots of fun! Adding to my favorites. We will definitely be back!

This is such a hidden gem. Absolutely beautiful and secluded. We had so much fun exploring the acreage on our utv and really enjoyed being able to bring our dog Louie. We made so many great memories, and would love to come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Christina suggested that we bring our 4-wheeler and enjoy the 200 acre secluded setting. Our two pups enjoyed the hills and trails as much as we did. The view of the White River from top of on their overlooks was really cool. It wasn't far to a boat launch on the White River and I was able to catch a nice size rainbow trout. All in all a fun birthday weekend.

We had the best time on our long, relaxing weekend away at Shipps Landing. Not sure who had more fun, our golden retriever or my husband and I. We loved every second of it. Be sure to bring your ATV to explore the beautiful land! We will most definitely be back again!

Celebrated my 40th birthday in this amazing place! I loved the location- private, peaceful and beautiful. I also loved how we felt right at home in the cottage. Coffee and wine on the screened in porch, s'mores at the fire pit, movies in the theater room- it was all perfect!

Christina and her husband have a nice property and home. The property is monitored and offers a feeling of security of your belongings when off premises. We enjoyed the fire pit and the thoughtful gesture of the s’mores! Thank you guys for some quiet time at your little retreat.! Awesome Property!

The owner communicated promptly and clearly. The property is tucked in a private, yet easy to find location. Nestled in the hills you drive up a gated, private rock road where you immediately feel relaxed. The cottage is nestled against the hill. Entering the cottage was easy. There was plenty of bedding, dishes, pots, pans and appliances, as well as a charcoal grill with everything you need.
There were extra little touched nestled in unexpected areas. Plenty of lap blankets for a movie, games for the kids, even a neat selection of books.
There was a lot of thought and detail put into the cottage, which is much appreciated. It was a perfect two day get away. My only complaint is we weren't able to stay longer due to our own schedules. 🙂 Thank you for such a clean, well stocked cottage!

We booked Shipp's Landing for the eclipse and could not have been more thrilled with our selection. The property is in the hills of northern Arkansas and offered wonderful hiking/ATV trails, lovely wildflowers, and wildlife. The property is fenced in, so our Labrador was able to explore and even chased a couple of deer (before remembering that she's 13 and a half). The property includes a very generously appointed cabin that offered pretty much everything you'd need for a stay as well as extras like snacks, wine, food storage, games, and laundry supplies. The beds were comfy, the shower was glorious (3 shower heads), the view from the screened in porch was magic, and the wifi was very fast (for that bit of work we had to do). We hope to come back!

This was by far the best place we have been to in AR. The house was clean, amenities for us to us until we could get to the store, everything easy to use, and a guide book of all the information we needed. Christina referred us to a fishing Guide, Jesse Brison, my husband said it was the best fishing trip he’s every been on. The boys limited out before their 4 hours were up. The stream in front of the house was so nice for the kids to play in. We went on part of one of the trails, which was so beautiful and nice. The porch was so nice to sit on and watch the wild life. We will be back and can’t wait to visit again! Great communication skills from Christina! Made us feel very welcome and at home!

No fault to the host, Mother Nature decided to give us a full camping experience. Christina kept us well informed and checked to make sure we were okay. The cottage was beautifully surrounded by creeks and wildlife. We especially loved listening to the creek running by the cottage from the porch. They had maps of the trails so it made it easy for us to move around the property. If you want to get away from the city and enjoy nature. Shipps Landing cottage is your place. Great memories made.

It was peaceful and very quiet. We along with our fur baby enjoyed the front yard meadow. We saw deer, turkeys, an eagle and even a turtle. Close enough to Mountain Home if we needed to get anything. Always easy to find our way back after a day of exploring. Plenty of amenities to make you feel at home.
