Welcome to Shipps Landing, where the harmonious blend of dispersed camping and modern convenience creates a first-class glamping experience in the heart of the Ozark woodlands. We keep it to two RV sites because we value security, peace, and privacy over volume.
Both sites offer a spacious 75' pull-through gravel circle drive, full 50/30/20 amp hookups with individual water and grey/black water cleanout, complimentary WiFi, and direct fiber-optic RJ45 ports at the pedestal. Rigs must be 100% self-contained — there are no public bathhouses on site.
RV1 — Hillside Campsite
A secluded, pull-through site overlooking meadows and pine trees in the Wild Hog Mountain valley. Unobstructed views for guests who want elevation and open sky.

Full Hookups
Dedicated 50/30/20 amp electrical, individual water connection, and grey/black water cleanout at your site.
Fiber + RJ45
Direct Ethernet at the pedestal to hardwire your rig, plus complimentary WiFi across the site.
Camp Chef Setup
Private fire ring with an adjustable grilling grate, alongside a heavy-duty outdoor picnic table.

No stacked campgrounds and no shared bathhouse lines — just two private spots on 214 gated acres.
Unique Gate Code
Every reservation gets its own access code, non-shareable, that expires at checkout.
Pet Friendly
Well-mannered dogs stay free, no leash required — up to the limit listed in our pet guidelines below.
Self-Contained Only
No public bathhouse on site, so rigs must be 100% self-contained. No tent camping unless paired with a camper.

A deposit plus 50% is due at booking to confirm. Remaining balance charges automatically 7 days before arrival.
Good To Know
Cancellation Policy
- <30 days before check-in: full refund within 48 hrs of booking if 14+ days remain.
- 30+ days out: 100% refund.
- 7+ days out: 50% refund or rebook.
- <7 days out: non-refundable.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in begins at 2:00 PM — avoid after-dark arrivals, the property has near-zero light pollution. Check-out is 11:00 AM; late departures may incur an extra night's charge.
Occupancy
Max 8 guests per site. No seasonal stays or subletting. Additional fees apply for larger groups.
Gate Access
Each reservation gets a unique access code that expires at checkout. Use caution approaching the keypad at night — when towing, continue to the river turnaround and loop back for an easier angle.
Self-Contained Rigs Only
No restrooms, bathhouses, or showers on site. All campers must be 100% self-contained — no tent camping unless paired with a camper.
Pet Guidelines
- Up to 3 well-mannered pets per site, no leash required.
- Excessive barking may lead to reservation cancellation without refund.
- Pick up after pets to avoid additonal cleaning charge.
Trash & Firewood
Bag garbage and place it in the dumpster by the exit. Source firewood locally (Baxter County or adjacent) or forage fallen branches on the property.
On-Site Conduct
Keep the circle drive clear for other rigs. No ATV riding after dark due to trail cliffs. Fireworks, explosives, and firearm discharge are prohibited.
Septic System
Please don't flush baby wipes or feminine hygiene products — help us keep the system running smoothly for every guest.
